Katie Merrifield is the owner of Merrifield Garden and Design.  She holds a B.A. from Clark University and is a Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist (MCH) and a Massachusetts Landscape Professional (MCLP).  Katie also has a certificate in Landscape Management from UMASS Extension's Green School.  
                                                      
Most recently, in the winter of 2009, Katie became a NOFA Accredited Organic Landcare Professional (AOLCP) .  Merrifield Garden and Design is an organic company- all of the products we purchase for use on our client's properties are safe and environmentally friendly.  We've seen great results without the use of chemicals and are continually researching new products and practices to keep up-to-date in the growing world of organic gardening.
